The children of St. Paul's United Church's Sunday School in Oakville hosted a pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday to raise funds for Sleeping Children Around the World, raising enough money for 24 bedkits.
The Sunday School superintendant, Sharon Holmes, as a Grade 13 graduate, had travelled as a SCAW volunteer and for the past eight years has promoted this fund raising event.
