Gore Mutual donates over $470,000 to charities across Canada

CAMBRIDGE - Gore Mutual is pleased to announce that, together with their Foundation, they have supported over 125 organizations across Canada, with over $470,000 in donations.

“We are proud of our Canadian heritage and the role we play in all the communities where we do business,” said Kevin McNeil, President and CEO, Gore Mutual. “We work closely with our broker partners to determine ways that together we can have a positive impact on their community.”

The Gore Mutual Foundation’s mission is to support the communities where Gore Mutual operates. The Foundation provides funds to social services, education, health, cultural and environmental activities that are in the best interest of these communities.

“Our goal is to make our Foundation one of Canada’s largest,” said Charlie Cipolla, Chairman, Gore Mutual Foundation. “We look forward to supporting many more organizations in years to come.”

Recipient organizations include Bridges To Community Canada Inc., Canadian Cancer Society of Ontario, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada, Sleeping Children Around the World, Special Olympics British Columbia Society, The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada and several United Way agencies across the country.
